JKBMS RS485 Converter Module for 4S–8S Low Voltage Smart BMS

The JKBMS RS485 Converter Module for 8 String enables wired RS485 communication between your JKBMS Smart BMS and a PC or external devices. Connect it directly to the RS485 port on your BMS protection board to monitor real-time battery parameters and configure BMS settings via the free JKBMS PC software.

Designed for low voltage 4S–8S battery systems (typically 12V–24V), this module is the essential communication accessory for JKBMS B series and BD series protection boards in low voltage applications.

⚠️ For high voltage 17S/20S/24S systems, please use the JKBMS RS485 Converter for 17S–24S instead.

Compatibility

• ❌ Not compatible with JK-PB Inverter BMS series
• ❌ Not compatible with 17S/20S/24S high voltage models (use RS485 for 17S–24S instead)

Communication Interface Notes

• PC monitoring & configuration: connect via RS485 to PC using this module
• Inverter communication: supported via RS485 (inverter must support RS485 BMS protocol). CAN connection is recommended where available for more stable inverter integration.
• Display connection: RS485-protocol displays are supported. Note that standard JKBMS LCD displays connect via the UART port, not RS485.
